Boudoir Sneak Peek | February Giveaway | Redlands Boudoir Photographer

First things first: I am so thrilled to share a sneak peek at this beautiful boudoir session.  The cat was in the bag until this lovely girl gave her husband a gorgeous album filled with these super sexy photos, but now that Valentine’s Day has passed, the album came back from the printer and the dust has settled on the surprise, I’m pleased to share a couple my favorite shots.  I love how romantic, soft and playful this session was, plus this girl has serious sex appeal and she is unbelievably easy to photograph.

*Please note: these photographs appear publicly with the expressed permission of the client.

So here’s where YOU come in:  Today is my birthday!  And what I want for my birthday is the gift of beautiful, strong, amazing women to photograph, of all sizes and shapes, for whatever reason is right for you and makes you feel like the super sexy siren you are.  Yup, that’s what I want for my birthday: the chance to help you define your own beauty and feel amazing doing it!!!

Now for the giveaway part!  (Yay, giveaways!)  Book a boudoir session any time before the end of the month (and you have one extra day this year [thanks, Leap Year!]), and I will throw in a free album!!!  Hot, right??!   White House Custom Color is a fab printer, and their products are press-printed and beeeeaauuuutiful.  Seriously, you will want to show all your friends.  Even your boss.  Which could get awkward.

Alright, ladies!  Let’s make this happen!  Email me (or use the Contact form) and we’ll get this conversation started about how to bring out your most sexy, sensual self.  Ready, set, party.

xoxo,
Morgan

Save me, San Fransisco.

Even more than I love the cheap thrill of The Bachelor (which is a lot), more than I love the smell of fresh laundry or finding a $5 bill I left in a pocket of my jeans, I love road trips.  I love road trips like whoa.  Getting in the car, reading aloud, endless playlists, making up adventure names for each other (like Josh and I do).  Ahh, the open road.

And you know what else?  I love anywhere north of Southern California.  Which means I’m all kinds of amped up to be heading to Santa Cruz in a few weeks.  And since the pending weekend migration to the Bay Area is on my mind, I knew it was time to dig out a few photos of my last trip to San Fransisco.

Alright, it was also my first trip, and it was a good one.  Good friends, good wine, and a lot of love.  Plus this film, captured lovingly by my Canon AE-1 on expired film.  Enjoy.

Savannah and Matt: Really good-looking couple plus a run-in with the police.

Let’s be clear: Savannah and Matt are law-abiding citizens.  They’re in the business of helping people (Savannah is a nurse and Matt is an EMT).  See?  Good people.  But good people sometimes run into traffic problems when crazy dudes run around on the freeway, causing police to form a blockade and arrest said crazy dude right in front of their stopped car.

This is real.  This is what happened to Savannah and Matt yesterday on their way to meet me at the Huntington Library in San Marino, California for Part 2 of their engagement session.  (Part 1 was a while back at a park in Rancho Cucamonga, because Savannah and Matt really wanted some shots with their awesome dog, Barkley.  There were no police involved in that session.)

Luckily, this super cute couple made it to the library, it was a GORGEOUS day, and they were all kinds of beautiful.  Here’s a preview.

Love this.  Matt snuck a grab at Savannah, so I had him do it again when I composed this shot:

Under a gorgeous twisty vine arbor:

My apologies to the piece of tree I had to break off in order to get these adorable shots:

One of my favorite shots from the day:

And one more (also a favorite):

Savanna and Matt are getting married this May, and I am STOKED.  (Especially for the ‘Bridesmaids’-esque photo we’re gonna create with the ladies!)

Dear Christa Meola, please pick me. I love you forever, Morgan.

FOLKS.  Hi.  Christa Meola is a smokin’ hot, brilliant, and super fab boudoir photographer hosting a three day workshop hosted by CreativeLIVE in Seattle next month.  She invited her readers (and those frothing at the mouth to get their hands at the chance to work with her) to record a video about who they are, where they’re from, why they love boudoir and what they want to learn.  This is my entry.  This is my warhorse.  (What does that even mean?  I don’t know.  I just saw a trailer for that movie, so it must be on my mind.)

Wish me luck, boys and girls!

Click and get rad.

Morgan Wade - This is a GREAT question, and I’m glad you’re asking it! The women that have appeared in the photos are usually models who have signed model releases allowing the photographer to use the portraits for any commercial use (specifically for workshops or learning sessions with other photographers). For me, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with what size you are, and I have no preference on what size women are in order to celebrate themselves and their bodies in taking boudoir photographs. So if you’re interested in booking a session, then AWESOME. I love real women, with real bodies, and boudoir photography is about your own experiences with yourself and exploring your own beauty. THAT is what’s hot, so definitely email me if you’re interested in booking a session and we can make it about you and your beauty — not the models. <3

Mat - So I have a qutieson for you. All of these boudoir shoots feature girls with perfect bodies. If I’m overweight and still would like to have a shoot that emphasizes my voluptuousness would that work, or do photographers for this kind of thing generally prefer you to be skinny?

All I want for Christmas.

I know what I want for Christmas this year:

Thank you in advance.

- Morgan
